NGC 2090 – Chile

This spiral galaxy lies about 40 million ly away in the southern constellation of Columba. It was used with the Hubble Space Telescope in the project to establish the rate of the expansion of the universe known as the Hubble Constant. There are over 20 smaller, distant galaxies in the field.
