Here are 2 galaxies approaching collision in Hydra. NGC2992 is at the top and 2993 at the bottom.. Note the wide bridge of material connecting them.
NGC2992 has a Seyfert core and is somewhat redder.
The red shift distance is 125 million lys. The 3rd dim, edge-on galaxy is listed as FGC 938/RFGC 1621. It shows the same red shift but doesn’t seem to exhibit any interaction with the 2 larger galaxies.
