NGC 0300 – Chile

This spiral lies just outside our Local Group of galaxies at about 7,000 ly away. Note the numerous pink colored HII emission regions where new stars
are being born.

Planewave 12.5″ CDK telescope with an ST11000 camera, Astrodon filters, and ASA gearless DDm-60 mount. F/8 unguided LRGB (60/6min L, 10/6min each 2×2 RGB).
